NUS Dialup
NUS Computer Centre maintains a large pool of modems by which you can connect to NUSNET, for the use of NUS Intranet
functions as well as access to the wider Internet.

Note: Staff users can access both numbers. Students are able to dialup to the student number only.
Supported Modems
- V.90, K56flex, v.34 or lower
- ISDN
Note: It is recommended to use a modem which supports the use of "error control".
Peak Usage
There is a limited number of modems available to serve the entire NUS staff & student population.
At busy times, all modems might be engaged and when you attempt to connect, you receive a busy tone.
In general, bad times to attempt to connect during term time are indicated below:
